Welcome to Hobby Artist!

Hi everyone, I'm Kavya. This is my first post. I am happy to welcome you to my world. I am a beginner and art is my hobby. Hobby artist is my journey of learning the art- sketches, illustrations, writing, etc.  This sketch is one of my favourites. It clearly depicts me. I sketched it out because I felt a part of me in it. As an introvert, I find it hard to communicate and art is the one to give me a voice.  There's a quote that gave me the motivation to start this blog. And it goes like  "Making bad art is    Better than     Making no art   Go make something!" And here I am. This little caterpillar will be happy to have you on my journey.

Welcome to ihobbyartist. I'm Kavya. I'm pursuing masters in chemistry. Besides chemistry I find interest in sketching, illustrating, writing &reading books.

 For me, art is a vehicle for meditation and self-connection. In my spare time, I try to create some and sometimes seek inspiration from others too. 

As an introvert, this blog serves as an alternative to express my emotions in the form of sketches, illustrations, etc. Ultimately, it gives me a voice.
